The Lighthouse of Houston is a longstanding nonprofit organization committed to empowering individuals who are blind or have low vision. Since its founding in 1939, it has provided vital programs—from health services to vocational training, adaptive technology, inclusive community events, and subsidized housing—to more than 14,000 individuals annually. As a people-centered institution grounded in the guiding principles of Leadership, Integrity, Growth, Humility, and Teamwork, the organization aims to foster belonging, independence, and sustainable opportunity.
Working on this project presented the opportunity to highlight The Lighthouse’s impactful work through compelling visuals and messaging that reflect its mission: “To enable and empower people who are blind or low vision to realize their full potential.”
